B.Ed & M.Ed Fee Structure:

Graduates from any Recognized University, Agricultural University, Open University, and Deemed University in; Arts, Science, Commerce, Home Science, Agriculture Science are eligible to appear for C.E.T.

  • Along with the graduates, the candidates appearing for degree examinations of March/April  from any Recognized University , Agricultural University , Open University, and Deemed University in; Arts, Science, Commerce, Home Science, Agriculture Science are eligible to appear for C.E.T.
  • Candidates belonging to open and Reserve category must secure at least 18 and 15 marks in C.E.T.
  • The candidates, willing to get admission in English Medium colleges of Education, must appear for English Language Test along with CET. It is obligatory for the candidates to secure minimum 25 marks out of 50 marks to be eligible for the admission in the same.
  • Candidates having equivalent Degrees of other universities are not eligible for B.Ed. Admission. E.g. Sanskrit  Shastri Degree, Hindi  Sahitya Sudhakar etc.
  • For applicants of Open category, Other Backward Class (OBC), and Special Backward Class (SBC) category minimum 50% in degree examination. For applicants of Scheduled Caste category minimum 45% in degree examination. If any University has semester pattern then average percentage of marks for both the semesters should be considered.
  • (Note-Attendance for the course is compulsory.Working candidates should not apply)

For the applicants that have served as a full time teacher for minimum two  years, the above mentioned minimum percentage limit is not applicable.   
      They only need to pass the qualifying examination.

  • Attested true copy of Caste Certificate / Non - Creamy Layer / Validity Certificate in your name issued by Competent Authority, clearly mentioning the Category of the Candidate and also the remarks that the Caste is under Backward Class in the State of Maharashtra. (Non-Creamy Layer should be after April-2012 )

Special Category:

If Physically Handicapped - Attested true copy of minimum 40% Physical Disability Certificate and eligible to complete the B.Ed.course issued by Competent Authority / District Civil Surgeon.

  • If Kashmir Migrant - Attested true copy of the Certificate clearly mentioning "Displaced Jammu and Kashmir Candidate staying in refugee camp" from head of the officer of Migrant/Refugee camp.
  • If Ward or Spouse of Ex-Serviceman or Active-Serviceman - Attested true copy of valid Certificate issued by Competent Authority.

M.Ed. Admission Eligibility


1) Candidates who have completed their (1) B.Ed., (2) B. A. B.Ed., (3) B. Sc. B.Ed., (4) B.El.Ed.(Bachelor B.Ed. Elementary Education is eligible) from NCTE recognized Colleges of Education affiliated to Recognized Non Agricultural Universities, in case of (5) D. El. Ed. with Graduation,(having 50% marks in both Diploma and Degree), Open Category as well as candidates of all categories from out side Universities of Maharashtra, who have secured minimum 50% marks (marks obtained in between 49.50% to 49.99% will be considered as 50%) and those candidates belonging to Backward Class Category (including SC, ST, VJ/DT, NT-1,
NT-2, NT-3, OBC, SBC), who have secured minimum 45% marks (mark obtained in between
44.50% to 44.99% will be considered as 45%) and in case of D.LE.Ed. with graduation (candidates having 45% marks in Diploma and Degree) will be eligible for CET Examination being conducted and for M. Ed. Admissions.
2) The candidates who have appeared for B.Ed Examination held in the months of March/
April/May are eligible to appear for CET (M.Ed). The Candidates whose results are
declared before the schedule of filling of Option Form and who are qualified as per Rule  and  and those who will fill in Option Form, their names will be included in the Merit List.The results of B.Ed Exam. of those candidates are declared after Admission Process has started, and if they are eligible as per govt.Rule can fill up the Option Form and their names will be included in the Progressive Admission Process Round. Such candidates can not claim his seat according to merit in the earlier Round of Association Admission Process conducted before filling up the Option Form.
3) Candidates who have completed their B.Ed from the universities which give Grades instead of marks will have to attach a certificate of equivalent Marks shown against the grades from the
competent authority of the University/Department. Candidates will have to attach the decoding list where the Codes are given to the subjects.
4) The merit of the Candidate (and minimum eligibility criteria) will be decided by considering the total percentage of marks secured by the candidate for B.Ed degree. If the university has given marks for theory examination and grades for internal assessment, it is the responsibility of the candidate to get the grade converted into marks. Such candidates will have to compulsorily submit the certified Table of the university for grade conversion.
